Sick of staring at a blank screen for trying to write a blog post? Ten minutes, twenty minutes, an hour goes by…
The only thing more frustrating than creating a great web design is being stuck on a blog, not knowing what to write next.
Content is the name of the game, it’s how you get found and your audience resonates with you. So instead of pulling out your hair and twiddling your thumbs, take a deep breath. You don’t have to deal with writer’s block anymore!
I’m going to share with you some killer tips on how to write blogs published fast and cheap.
You can do it for just $6.90; and no, I’m not talking about a poorly written article from a content mill!
Let me walk you through the four steps on how you can get blogs published on your website, get more traffic, get more sales, make more money, and have a lot more fun dialing in this blogging process!
“I don’t know what to write today…”
I feel your pain.
It sucks when you’re trying to pound out your 90-day blogging challenge and suddenly you’ve hit a wall in your content creation challenge with nothing to write about.
If this is you, then this tip number one on how to create a blog can completely change your blogging game.
With permission, you can record your conversations and save yourself a lot of hassle.
Say you want to document an event happening in your community. If you just bring a piece of paper and pen and try to scribble down all the highlights of the event and notes from an important conversation, the process is going to take longer and be more challenging.
Unless you’re a robot that can write 200 words per minute, you’re bound to miss some important stuff and you may fail to capture some great content.
Why try to write down all the details or capture the host’s quotes when you could just record it?
This is especially true if you’re trying to participate in the event!
Next time, grab your cellphone, hit the voice recorder button, and save the audio file for later.
I do this whenever I go to a MeetUp group, and it works great.
Humans don’t recall information as well as they think anyway, but if you have it all on tape, you won’t miss a thing, making the blogging process a breeze.
Now that you have the audio file, all you need is to get the words in a text format.
This is where a great transcript tool comes in really handy.
I use https://temi.com which quickly gives me transcriptions for the recordings I make. It’s pretty seamless and straightforward to use.
Once you have your recorded MP3 file, go to your Temi account and upload the file.
At 10 cents per audio minute, how is this not worth trying? For a 5-minute recording, that would be just 50 cents.
For whatever length of recording, you now have material to use for your blog!
So what’s next?
The next thing you need is a headline, and there’s a tool for that, too!
When it comes to blogs, the headline is EVERYTHING. It’s what pulls your visitors into reading your post. If it’s done right, it’ll be catchy and your audience will want to know more.
However, it’s not always easy to come up with a good headline.
I use CoSchedule headline analyzer to help me come up with a baller, click-worthy headline for my blog post.
The best part is it’s FREE!
You can find it at https://coschedule.com/.
Enter your initial idea for a headline, then let the program analyze it and score it. I recommend picking a headline with a score of no less than 70 points. The higher the better! If you can, try to settle on one in the 90s range.
With a solid headline and transcriptions for cents on the dollar, now all you have to do is write the body of the content.
Since we don’t usually write the way we talk, you’ll need to make some simple adjustments to your transcript so that it flows well in its blog form.
Add in quotes and any additional content you want and wala!
You’ve just written a blog quickly and at a great price.
